Any candidate within or outside CAREL.
This examination can be taken by anybody who has a very basic level of competency in French: adult beginners in French as a foreign language, recently arrived immigrants with little reading and writing capabilities.
Candidates must be 16 to sit DILF.

It assesses the 4 language skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing in basic french, with emphasis on oral comprehension and production.

Pass certificates are delivered by CAREL upon communication of results. The DILF diplomas are delivered in the following 2 months.
