The CAREL’s accommodation office offers various possibilities in and around Royan : host families, shared apartments , self contained flats in the Erasmus residence or in town, hotels, or even boarding facilities at the Lycée de l’Atlantique in July and August.

Lodgings are located in or near Royan. Our accommodation office will be most happy to advise you and help you to choose and book your digs while in Royan.

Accommodation costs are payable directly to the landlord. Do not hesitate to contact our accommodation office for any further information by mail  or phone (+33 5 46 39 50 10).

Especially selected for their friendliness, they offer students many opportunities to acquaint themselves with French life.

 Half board (individual bedroom or twin for juniors, breakfast and evening meal): 25 € per day.
 Lunch (Saturday and/or Sunday): 6 €/one meal.  

You have a room to yourself. The bathroom is shared with the host family and the kitchen is available if you want to prepare your own meals.

You share a house or a large flat with other foreign or French students. You have a room to yourself and the kitchen and the bathroom facilities are shared with the other students.

 You have the choice between a studio in the Erasmus hall of residence or in town.

 This includes a kitchenette, a bathroom, toilet, and a bedroom.
 Linen and towels are not provided.

Reservations are accepted only for CAREL students who are duly enrolled and only for the length of their course.

You are sent a confirmation and the details of your lodgings about 2 weeks before your course starts (with the name and address of your family or of the owner of your room or apartment, the check-in time, the description of your lodgings, whether linen and towels are provided, etc.).

You can be met at the railway station by your host family provided you inform them in advance of the date and time of your arrival in Royan.
