For young people between 12 and 17 who will be staying in Royan without their parents.
We kindly ask parents who wish to enrol their child as an unaccompanied minor to contact our Registration Service for information about authorized agents in heir country of departure.

We require students to have studied at least one year of French. A writter and oral test is carried out by the teacher the first day of the course.
Class and workshops take place in a school neighbouring CAREL, equipped with our staff and equipment (lycée de l’Atlantique - 2, rue de Montréal Royan).
This programme is not open to beginners (minimum requirements: level A2 of the CEFR).
The students are divided into groups according to level (maximum 15 students per class).
Placement test on first morning.
Morning: 3 hours of French from Monday to Friday (9am - 12pm) - 15 hours per week.
Lunch break: 12:00pm to 13.30pm (from Monday to Friday) supervised by CAREL.
Afternoon
Creative workshops in French (2pm - 4pm)
Theater, Multimedia Writing, journalism (blog, photo, video).
Sport activities (4pm - 7pm)
These activities are run by fully qualified sport teachers in registered sports clubs.
Saturday excursions.
Visit of La Rochelle, Bordeaux, Futuroscope and Puy du Fou attraction parks, etc.
Accommodation in host family.
Single room or room with twin-beds.
Breakfast and evening meal with family from Monday to Friday.
Saturday lunch: picnic (packed lunch provided by family).
Sunday: with family (fullboard).
Our courses are sampled on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
They focus on:
active and communicative approach (including class simulations and role plays in our studio).
intensive digital audio laboratory work.
personalised treatment of student's needs in our Multimedia resource centre.
End of course certificate and a personal progress report.
