Stay in Royan
Our Reception and Accommodation Service offers different types of accommodation adapted to your needs and means (host family, studio, shared apartment, single or double rooms, hotel). *
He welcomes groups at the Royan station and advises you on transport (local and national travel, ticket or taxi reservations).
The accommodations are reserved for CAREL interns only, subject to availability on the date of the request. We make the reservation for an arrival on the Sunday afternoon before the start of classes until the Saturday morning following the end of class. No list of host families and studios will be broadcast for a ‘live’ reservation.

Host family
Chosen for their friendliness, our families welcome one or more French and/or foreign interns on half-board or full-board (weekend only). Laundry care (washing and ironing) is offered once a week.
Prices
Half board: 34€ / day (breakfast and dinner)
Full board: 41€ / day
studio/apartment
Housing comprising a bedroom, a kitchenette, private bathrooms. Rates vary according to standing and area.
Prices:
Low season: 250€ / week on average
High season: 400€ / week on average
hotels
2, 3 or 4 stars. Reservation possible through our Accommodation Service.

How to book?
You are of legal age
Please complete the “Accommodation” section of your registration file. The consideration of your request will be notified on your registration confirmation.
We will send you your reservation and the details of your accommodation about two weeks before the start of your internship. Placement fees will be charged in addition to accommodation costs.
You are a minor and unaccompanied
Accommodation with a host family is included in your stay (Juniors program). You nevertheless have the possibility to indicate us on your registration file your preferences (with a friend, with or without animals, allergies etc…).
We will send you your reservation and the contact details of your host family about two weeks before the start of your internship. Placement fees are included.
Note: the accommodation of minors in foster families is subject to a declaration with the prefecture (DDCS).
You are a minor and accompanied
We do not cover the accommodation of students accompanied by their parents. We invite you to contact the Tourist Office Destination Royan Atlantic to find out about accommodation possibilities. A large number of accommodations are also offered on online booking platforms.
If you want to take care of booking your accommodation yourself (campsites, seasonal rentals, hotels etc…), do not hesitate to visit the website of the Tourist Office Royan Atlantic Destination.
You will also find a large number of offers on peer-to-peer rental sites such as Airbnb or LeBonCoin.
Royan being a particularly touristy region in the summer, we advise you to apply for accommodation as soon as possible.
