Order concerning the organization of the 2023-2024 session of the DELF and the DALF by the Language Center of Royan (CAREL) The rector of the academy of Poitiers, In view of decree n’2020-1196 of September 29, 2020 relating to the diploma of studies in the French language (DELF) and the advanced diploma of the French language (DALF)
In view of the agreement no. RA1-9-DELF-22-02 of October 5, 2022, signed between France Éducation International (FEI) and the rectorate of the Academy of Poitiers regarding the organization of the DELF and the DALF in the Academy of Poitiers. The Centre d’étude de langues de Royan (CAREL) is authorized to organize the sessions of the year 2023-2024 for the diploma of study in the French language (DELF) and the advanced diploma of the French language (DALF)

Prerequisites
Be over the age of 16.

The DELF and the DALF are official diplomas of the Ministry of National Education, to validate the skills in French of foreign candidates and French people originating from a non-French-speaking country and not holding a diploma from secondary or higher French public education.
There are 6 independent diplomas corresponding to the 6 levels of the CEFR: DELF A1/A2, DELF B1/B2 and DALF C1/C2.
Interns who have the required level are encouraged to take these national exams and validated by the Ministry of National Education.
Test procedure
The DELF and the DALF evaluate the 4 skills: written and oral comprehension and expression.

Organisation
Each diploma is presented on a single day according to a national calendar set by FEI (France Education International).
Date limite d’inscription : 4 semaines avant l’examen.
Results
To be admitted to the DELF or the DALF, candidates must obtain an overall grade of 50/100 with a minimum score of 5/25 per test.
A certificate of achievement is issued by the CAREL upon communication of the results. The diploma is then sent to you within 2 months.
These two diplomas are valid for an unlimited period.
