Presentation of the initiation CM1 – CM2

Objectives

This training aims to initiate and/or strengthen English in a fun way, promote language learning and thus better prepare them for entry into the college.
Indeed, at the end of CM2, students must have acquired the skills necessary for elementary communication defined by level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

CE2 students can follow this internship upon prior consultation with the pedagogical manager.

Program

In accordance with the national education program, communication activities are prioritized as a complement to written and oral comprehension activities (authentic documents adapted to the age group, audio documents).

• • introduce oneself and talk about oneself
  • answer questions and ask some
  • learn to react on familiar subjects (animals, food, colors, family, home, age, dates, time, days of the week, sports…)

Organisation

• • group of 16 students maximum
  • from Monday to Friday: 15 hours of classes, which is 3 hours per morning from 9:00 to 12:00

Assessment

The students are given two documents at the end of the training :

• • an end of course certificate stating the duration and objectives of the course
  • a report of the training which includes an evaluation of the skills acquired
