Programme

Our Summer School programme is designed for University students who need to improve their French level during he summer season The programme combined a standard course (15 hours per week) and cultural activities.

Thanks to our Summer School programme, you learn quickly how to communicate in French and take advantage of the activities to practice your French, interact with other students and discover the region

This face-to-face groupe course is based upon teaching methodologies and textbooks for foreign adult learners, authetic documents and activities:

• in language laboratory
• in computer laboratory
• in television studio to re-enact real-life situations

Objectives

• • improving oral and written comprehension, oral and written expression in various real-life situations (social interaction, speaking in front on an audience, debating, letters and reports, etc.)
  • encouraging linguistic autonomy for more advanced students who must perfom communicative tasks in a professional or academic context
  • reinforcing basic linguistic structures : grammar, vocabulary, spelling, punctuation, etc.
  • developing fluency and building confidence when speaking

Assessment

The course is run in small groups You complete our online placement test before your arrival in order to directly join a group adapted to your level. You receive your course program upon registration.

Throughout your course, you are supervised by our teaching team. Every week, you receive a personalised skills assessment sheet based on the CEFR scale to visualise your progress and a course certificate and the end of your stay.
